...but a sword
If you look at the post on ‘Thou Fool’, you will see that the King James Bible is a complex text. If you don't understand how the same word may have a different meaning in a similar sentence, and a different context, you will not understand the context of what is being said.
In a similar way, if you do not understand the context of who is being spoken to, and who or what is being spoken of, then you won't understand the who, what, when, where, and why of the subject matter. This could lead you to believe there is a contradiction or cause you to miss the understanding of what TRUTH is being told.
Take a look at these verses:
Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
And These:
Matthew 5:2 And he opened Ins mouth, and taught them, saying,
Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs
is the kingdom of heaven.
As you can tell, our GOD is good, and HIS Kingdom is a good kingdom. The whole universe and what ever else there is belongs to HIM. Afterall, HE created it.
But what about these verses:
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess G3670 me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Note:
A covenant is a contract. The contract is the whole New Testament (New Covenant). JESUS commands us to Walk In THE SPIRIT. I will put that Post called "Walking In THE SPIRIT" at the end of this article. If we keep this contract, JESUS will say: This person is one of Mine. This person belongs to ME. If a person does not keep this contract, JESUS will say: Depart from ME, I never knew you.

If you study the post, ‘The Mysteries Of The Kingdom Of GOD', and other pertinent content on this website, you will see that satan tried to take GOD'S THRONE in the previous age.
Also, one of the reasons that family members will believe that satan is JESUS is because they do not accept the love the The TRUTH, and believe in a rapture. They have been conditioned to believe that satan will show up on earth as a monster, when he actually comes in prosperously and peacefully and makes peace on the earth. The devil will disguise himself as CHRIST, and his angels will disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness (angels of light). When the devil shows up first, before the TRUE CHRIST returns, and disguises himself as CHRIST, people will believe that he is the TRUE CHRIST returned, and try to get their family members saved. This will result in GOD'S election getting delivered up to death (satan). Study the Post called: "Disproving The Rapture" and the other Posts at this website that show the TRUTH regarding the false rapture doctrine.
One third of GOD'S children were deceived into joining satan in the attempt to take GOD'S THRONE in the previous age. The other two thirds were not much better. Only GOD'S election stood with GOD to overthrow satan.
That was in the previous age, and GOD destroyed that age and created this age where we are all in flesh instead of spirit bodies. This age is to give HIS children a chance to come back to HIM.
Near the end of the previous age, there was a one world system full of deception, similar to what is forming today at the end of this age.
Notice that this wonder was in Heaven, not on the earth:
(Revelation 12:3) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
(Revelation 12:4) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
GOD calls HIS children stars (HE also calls HIS children trees) and these children who joined the devil in his attempt to take GOD'S THRONE, were cast to the earth. The flesh body is made of earth. They were cast here for a chance to come back to GOD. The other two thirds of GOD'S children had to come to earth also. The reason is covered in other posts.

This system, as well as our journey through the flesh is for the purpose of testing and giving GOD'S children a chance to return unto HIM.

The sword that JESUS is sending is the two edged sword of TRUTH, against the sword of satan's lies.
There can be no peace with evil satan around, so pick up the two edged Sword of TRUTH so you can defeat satan's sword of lies.
The reason that it is mother against daughter and father against son is that one person will think satan is JESUS and try to get the other person saved by satan. Well, satan can't even save himself, so don't fall for the deception this time. If you do, you might lose your soul and die with satan and his angels in the lake of FIRE at the end of the Millennium. I believe that those who are deceived into believing that satan is JESUS will cause those who know The TRUTH to be delivered up to the devil where we will overcome him by The Blood Of The LAMB and the WORD of our testimony.
(Revelation 12:7) And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
(Revelation 12:8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
(Revelation 12:9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
(Revelation 12:10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
(Revelation 12:11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Walking In THE SPIRIT
Remember, the whole Law and Prophets (the entire Bible) are contained in two commandments, and by doing what those two commandments say, we are doing exactly what JESUS told us to do.
If you take a look at the verses below, you will see our relationship with the law. You will also see what it means to walk in THE SPIRIT.
Matthew 22:34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
Matthew 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
The entire Bible is composed of those two commandments. If we love FATHER with our whole being, we would never worship an idol. The devil is the ultimate idol. If we love our neighbor as ourselves, we would never hurt our neighbor. If we would never worship an idol, and we would never hurt our neighbor, we have no need for the law. So, what is the fruit of the Spirit? It is love. And if we really have faith in GOD, then we would keep those two commandments. The law then just becomes our schoolmaster. It's the reference by which we know whether we do good or we do bad.
The Law is always with us. The Law has not been done away with, it has been fulfilled in JESUS. Not one jot or tittle will pass from it. When we sin, we fall back under the Law, so we need to repent fast and get back to walking in the Spirit. JESUS paid the price for our sins, so if we sin, we repent and our sin falls under the Blood of The LAMB and we are forgiven. The point is that if we don't sin, then we don't need the Law. We also have to be realistic. We are in the flesh and there is no such thing as not sinning when we are in the flesh (except for JESUS, WHO is our example). So, walk in the Spirit, and if you sin, repent and get back to walking in the Spirit, because any sin that is not repented of is not covered by The Blood Of The LAMB.
