The Big Picture
Chapter twelve is an insert chapter. That means it is inserted into the normal flow of Revelation to describe an important aspect of what is going on. It covers a range of time from the end of the previous age through to the end of this age. It’s the Big Picture.
Keep in mind that John describes these things as past tense. That is because John was taken through time to The LORD’S Day (the seventh trump when JESUS returns) to describe what is going on at that time. John writes these things as past tense because they are past tense to him.
To us, these things have not yet happened. This is with exception to those things which happened in Heaven in the previous age. Those things are past tense to us. You can discern it as you read the descriptions in this article.
Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

Note:
Wonder = Sign. This sign was in Heaven, not on earth. The woman is clothed with the sun (righteousness). The righteousness is CHRIST.
It’s mother Israel, and the crown of twelve stars are the twelve tribes of Israel. This sign was in the previous age; it’s GOD’S Plan of Salvation to save HIS children.
All prophecies given in days or light are related to GOD. All prophecies given in nights, moons, or months are related to satan. I believe that the “moon under her feet” correlates to Genesis 3:13-15, and Psalms 110:1. Also keep in mind that the devil tried multiple times to block the seed line for CHRIST to come to this world to save GOD'S children. If CHRIST did not come, then GOD'S children would likely have to pay the same price as the devil for what happened, or the devil would have to be let go. If you look at what the prophecy says, you can see why this would be the case. The moon is under her feet; the moon indicates satan. The devil tried to stop JESUS from coming. But at the same time, JESUS will make GOD'S enemies HIS footstool.
Genesis 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Psalms 110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Revelation 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

Note:
This is the birth of a new age, this age. It’s the age of Salvation.
]
Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Wonder = Sign. This sign was in Heaven also. The great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads is similar to the beast that rises out of the sea in Revelation 13:1. It’s the same beast. This beast is a governmental system. It’s the one world globalist socialist system that satan uses to deceive GOD’S children. That is how we know that this sign was from the previous age; one beast is in Heaven, the other is on earth, but it is the same beast. During the beast that was in Heaven, we were in spirit bodies (angels). As the beast on earth forms, we are in flesh bodies (a veil to the previous age). This flesh age is a copy of the previous age. It’s a chance for GOD’S children to change their minds. The difference between these beasts is based on place and time, and that there are seven crowns on this beast, whereas the beast in Revelation 13:1 has ten crowns. Also, on the beast in Heaven, the crowns are on the heads, whereas in Revelation 13:1, the crowns are on the horns. Horns are symbolic of power. As we will see in Revelation chapter thirteen, these ten horns are ten fallen angels that are given power “as” kings for one hour with the beast (the hour of temptation).

Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

GOD calls HIS children stars. The dragon deceived (drew with his tail, meaning deception) the third part (this is why whenever you see the “third part” or “a third”, it is likely pointing out a deception) of GOD’S children and caused them to have to come to the flesh on earth through this age. GOD could have destroyed satan and the third part of HIS children, but GOD loves HIS children and destroyed the age instead of destroying HIS children and created the Plan of Salvation in this age where HE would pay the price for the sins of HIS children. GOD wants to save as many of HIS children as HE can, although not all will make it. Also, the devil and his fallen angels are already sentenced to death. When this age was born, the child that the woman carried would be GOD being born in the flesh (therefore, The SON Of GOD). The devil tried to stop GOD’S Plan of Salvation by contaminating the seed line to CHRIST; once in the Garden Of Eden, and also by the fallen angels of Genesis six by mating with human women. There were other attempts, but we won’t mention them here.

Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

As you can see, the Child is JESUS.
Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Note
The woman is mother Israel, and we can tell that this is the end time because it says the amount of time is a thousand two hundred and threescore days. We’ve already covered, that even though the time is cut short, that the two witnesses were supposed to have prophesied a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
(Revelation 11:3) And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
We also know that to be fed, means to be fed with TRUTH. So, as you will see in the verses below, it’s the election that is delivered up for a testimony against satan. And it is the election who knows TRUTH. So, when it says “they” shall feed “her”, it means that the election will feed mother Israel. The two witnesses are the two Olive trees that stand by the GOD of the whole earth AND the two candlesticks. The two candlesticks are the election. The two churches that JESUS is happy with are Smyrna and Philadelphia. You already know why JESUS is happy with these two churches. It’s because they know who the deceivers are; those that say they are Jews and are not, but do lie and are of the synagogue of satan. The place in the wilderness must be a place at the end time. It must be a place of safety where mother Israel can study without fear of people or the government system of the world. Perhaps it is the land that lives in safety with no bars or gates where the people have gotten goods (study Ezekiel 38 and 39). Perhaps the land that trusts in GOD.

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

There are a few things that we can learn by paying attention to the way things are worded. Notice who is fighting the dragon. It’s Michael and his angels. So when 2nd Thessalonians chapter two says:
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
Note that the subject of these verses in 2nd Thessalonians is when we gather back to CHRIST.
2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Don’t get confused, or troubled, not by evil spirits or the spirit of hype, nor by what someone says, not even by that first letter we sent (which was 1st Thessalonians; 4:17 in particular), as to when The LORD’S Day starts (which is when JESUS returns).
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Remember, JESUS’ first warning about the end time?
(Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.)
What day shall come? The day we gather back to CHRIST. What day do we gather back to CHRIST? The LORD’S Day (at the seventh trump, the Trump Of GOD). And what has to happen before we gather back to CHRIST? The falling away. What does that mean? It means that most of the earth has to switch from loving CHRIST to loving the devil. Why would they do that? The answer is because they don’t know GOD’S WORD. GOD warned everyone that the devil would disguise himself as CHRIST and deceive everyone into thinking he is CHRIST. But people don’t read contracts and people don’t read the Bible. So, they leave JESUS for an impostor. Now, remember who holds satan prisoner? It’s Michael the archangel. The devil used to guard GOD’S THRONE with Michael, but the devil turned bad. Michael didn’t. Since Michael’s job was to guard GOD’S THRONE, it’s only fitting that Michael would take the devil into custody. The man of sin is the devil, the son of perdition. The devil is the only “named” son of GOD that is already sentenced to death (perdition means to perish). The devil’s death sentence is in Ezekiel 28, verse 18. So, who is going to cast the devil out of Heaven, and who is going to take the devil into custody again after he serves his purpose on the earth? Michael, the archangel, whose job it was to guard GOD’S THRONE. So, the sequence is that the devil gets cast to earth by Michael the archangel, then the devil deceives the world into thinking he is CHRIST, and the world falls for it because most didn’t have a love for the TRUTH and didn’t study GOD’S WORD. Then JESUS returns and the devil is revealed for who he is, and Michael takes the devil out of the way and imprisons him in the pit for the thousand years of the Millennium until the devil is loosed for a short season to test those who underwent the Iron Rod discipline of the Millennium. At the end of the Millennium, after the devil tests those who underwent the Iron Rod discipline, the devil is cast into the lake of FIRE. Those who underwent the Iron Rod discipline who don’t overcome the devil at that time will go into the lake of FIRE with the devil.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The devil will claim to be GOD, but in the form of JESUS. The claim will be that he is The CHRIST. The devil has two horns like a lamb, but speaks as a dragon, because he is the dragon. Wait for Revelation chapter thirteen.
2 Thessalonians 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
Yes, Paul did tell them these things, but all it takes is for some deceiver to start spreading hype and disinformation to get a whole crowd of dumb people to follow him. Preachers do it today and sure enough, there is no shortage of dumb people. If you want money, just join one of these structured deceiver churches. Give them your donation to support bringing people to the devil. They kill your soul, and charge you for doing it. Want to be a pervert? Just join a church that gives you access to your victims. And get paid while you do it. There are a lot of dumb people in the world. Don’t be one of them. If you think I’m harsh, wait until the Millennium; you’ll wish you had listened.
2 Thessalonians 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
Michael withholds satan until it is time for him to be revealed. But you might wish for rocks to fall on you to hide you from the face of HIM who sits on The THRONE and from the Wrath of the The LAMB if you don’t study GOD’S WORD and find this out ahead of time. GOD said that if you don’t care, HE will send you a delusion to believe satan’s lie. It is written later in 2nd Thessalonians chapter two.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
The deception is building. It’s a mystery to those without eyes to see and ears to hear. Michael will take the devil out of the way after the devil is revealed for who he is; but that doesn’t happen until the devil is taken back to the pit to wait until the end of the thousand years. By this time, it’s too late for those that did not fill their lamps with OIL (TRUTH).
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
When JESUS returns, the devil will be revealed for who he is, but it will be too late for an uncountable number of people. This is when Michael takes the devil out of the way. It’s so he can’t interfere with the Iron Rod discipline of The LORD’S Day. Don’t think this time will be easy. It won’t be.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (that is serious grief). Iron Rod discipline just by how it is called should give reason to become alert now. Those that make it number as the sands of the sea. But what is more frightening is that those who don’t make it also number as the sands of the sea. And the Millennium is all works, no Grace. You can’t call on JESUS for help at that time.
And remember when JESUS saw satan fall as lightning from Heaven, and HE gave us power over our enemies, even satan? Well, this is that hour that JESUS saw it in, and rejoiced. It’s the hour of temptation. And we are the babes (the election). And where in Heaven is our names written? In the book of Life. That is how serious it is to be of the election.
Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Revelation 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

So, the devil and his angels lost. Michael and his angels cast them out of Heaven to earth. But look at what happens when they get to earth. Don’t forget that to us, this has not yet happened.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

So, the devil and his angels are coming here. And they are coming here as themselves, in angel bodies. Not born into some man as the mainstream would have you believe.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The devil is cast out of Heaven. GOD has taken control. But the devil still must play out his purpose on earth. This starts the hour of temptation on earth. Who was the devil accusing? The election. It’s those that will be delivered up for a testimony against him. Just because you are election does not mean that you cannot sin. So, do the best you can not to be doing sinful things. Why would you want GOD to have to listen to that devil day and night pointing out the bad things that you do? In any case, though; what does GOD say about it?
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

It is our job (the election) to be delivered up for a testimony against the devil. When this happens, THE HOLY SPIRIT will Speak through us. All who hear us speak will hear it in their own language, and not even the gainsayers (smart mouthed back talkers) can overcome what is said through us.
Read Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 for details about what is going on. And remember not to premeditate what you will say. THE HOLY SPIRIT will give us what we will speak in that hour. What hour? The hour of temptation.
And we do not love our life here. We don’t want this system of the devil. We will not look back to it as Lot’s wife did. We will wait upon the TRUE CHRIST.
The devil’s temptations mean nothing to us. We find them disgusting. But remember this important warning. Although I can tell you first hand what having GOD in and around your body will do to you; you wouldn’t even flinch if the universe melted out from underneath you, you would not fear anything. But the warning is, that if you refuse THE HOLY SPIRIT to Speak through you at that hour, there is no forgiveness. That is the unforgivable sin. It’s that important.

Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The devil is on earth during the last half of the great tribulation. That is why it is quiet in Heaven. The devil is not there in Heaven anymore to accuse us. But Woe to those on the earth. Remember, those who undergo the Iron Rod discipline of the Millennium will be weeping and gnashing their teeth. It’s Woe to those who fall for the devil and don’t come out of it and repent while they are still in flesh.

Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

The woman who brought forth JESUS is Israel. But learn about Israel. It’s not just one tribe. Israel numbers as the sands of the sea. Although JESUS did come through the Jews, Judah is only one of twelve tribes. And remember GOD’S vineyard? Remember who messed it up? It was the devil and his followers. Get a better picture by watching “These Little Ones”, parts one and two.

Revelation 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

The Great Eagle is GOD. Read that little rectangular plaque next to the Eagle on the group or webpage background picture. The picture is symbolic, it’s not an idol. GOD describes the way that HE takes care of HIS children as similar to the way an Eagle takes care of it's young. It takes study over a long period of time to discern where this wilderness is located. But you may discern it if you study Ezekiel, chapters thirty eight and thirty nine. The woman is mother Israel, and what she is nourished with for three and a half years is The TRUTH of GOD’S WORD. The serpent can’t outlaw GOD’S TRUTH in that wilderness, for now. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a lot of deception there. I think the nourishment really begins when we are delivered up for a testimony against satan. Even so, the time is cut short for the elect’s sake. You already know how much it is cut short. And you know that “if” it were possible that satan would deceive even the very elect. But fortunate for us, it’s not possible. But that should give you an idea of how well satan performs his deception.

Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

You are aware that animals (or creatures of any kind) do not spit fire, smoke, and rocks out of their mouths. And you already know what those things mean. Well, serpent means deceiver. The deceiver is satan, the devil. And the flood of water he casts out of his mouth is a flood of lies. A flood of deception, and as you will see in Revelation 17, waters are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. So, it is possible that the flood of lies may be carried by people; perhaps even the locust army. And he hopes to deceive the woman. But the earth will help her, as in the next verse.

Revelation 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

What is a flesh body made of? It is made of earth. And how would you swallow up lies? With TRUTH. And who is THE HOLY SPIRIT Speaking TRUTH through? Those delivered up for a testimony who overcome satan by The Blood Of The LAMB and by The WORD of their testimony. So, the election open up their mouths and swallow up the lies of satan’s deception. But don’t forget that it is THE HOLY SPIRIT Speaking that testimony. So, it is actually GOD doing the Speaking. The earth is GOD’S seven thousand, the election.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

So, the dragon is wroth with the woman (mother Israel). Is that because she is coming to the TRUTH and dropping out of his one world system? And is that because Zerubbabel is hearing GOD’S seven thousand as THE HOLY SPIRIT Speaks through them, and finishing The End Time Temple Of The LORD and bringing forth the Cornerstone and crying, Grace, grace unto it?
And that Cornerstone fills the whole earth where JESUS will rule with a Rod of Iron? Yes, that’s why. And so, that evil devil goes berserk because his time is running out, and he breaks GOD’S command not to touch HIS election, and he kills the two witnesses.
The two witnesses are election also, just as the two candlesticks (Smyrna and Philadelphia) are. So, the remnant of the woman’s seed is the election. But remember, that not all Israel are of Israel. The election can be from any of the thirds of GOD’S children. And indeed are a few here and a few there from all three thirds of GOD’S children. You can see this by Ezekiel chapter five, verses one through four.

This concludes Revelation chapter twelve. In chapter thirteen, we will cover the one world system beast of the previous age that shows up here on earth at this end time. It has been forming for a long time. It is almost complete, even today. We will also cover the second beast that has two horns like a lamb, but speaks as a dragon. And we’ll find out what those ten horns are.
