Whenever you see “One Third”, or "The Third Part", listen up! It's likely pointing out a deception.
Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
The following is the three thirds of GOD'S children. So as it was before, so shall it be again. The few in number are GOD'S 7000, the election. The seven thousand that HE has reserved unto HIMSELF.
When we are cast into the fire (delivered up), A FIRE will come forth out of us into all the house of Israel.
Ezekiel 5:1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
Ezekiel 5:2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
Ezekiel 5:3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.
Ezekiel 5:4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
My question is at the bottom. I ask because I want to know. Does anyone know the answer?
Zechariah 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

The little ones are us. GOD'S election, the seven thousand. Picture a Hand like a cup, turned over the little ones like a dome to protect us.

Zechariah 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

My question:
Two thirds are cut of and die. Does that mean they die a Spiritual death and have to go through the Millennium, or does that mean they are cut off and die permanently? The reason I ask is because the last third is brought through the fire and refined as silver and tried as gold.

Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Note:
It's a difficult question. But if the last third is actually brought through the FIRE of the Millennium, then that means only the last third make Eternity and the rest (the other two thirds) are not going to make it. They are going into the lake of fire. It's that serious.
The other thought that I can't get clear is: Could it be that the last third mentioned make it to the first resurrection while here in the flesh and the other two thirds go to the Millennium. I need help to understand this. Does anyone understand and can you help me?

The beginning of Zechariah 13 is millennium or the start of the Lord's Day.
(Insert: Zechariah 13:1 In that day* there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.)
*"that day" = The LORD'S Day.
But verse 7 brings us back to this earth age when Jesus was killed and God says His hand will be upon the little ones or "feeble of the flock" as Bullinger points out.

Verse 7 was quoted by Jesus in Math 26:31; Mark 14:27 about the Messiah.
(Insert: Matthew 26:31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
Mark 14:27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.)
Then verses 8-9 HAVE to be in this time period.

Yes, but they are also the ones that make it to be with Christ during the millennium. That's the way I see it.
They were the ones who cared but didn't fight much in the 1st earth age in the Katabole*, remember?
*"Katabole" = The overthrow of satan in the last age.
1/3 went with satan
1/3 didn't care or fight at all.
1/3 did care but didn't really fight
The election did care and fought.
That's the way I understood it.

Hi Mary, This is just my opinion, but I think those that are brought through the fire are the multitude that washed their robes in the BLOOD of the LAMB. I think they are probably in Heaven during the thousand years, and Heaven is locked during that time. I think in the Millennium that JESUS is there, the very elect (the seven thousand), the elect (Zerubbabel), and then those that are taught. What do you think? Does it sound right?

Yes, but not only when satan is here are they washed in the Blood of the Lamb, but down thru history as well I would imagine.
The 1/3 is all the 1/3, right?
