How Is HIS Voice as The Sound Of Many Waters?
The following study shows an example of how the voice of our LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST is as the sound of many waters. When HE speaks, people listen. The following verses teach us that the things that happen in The Bible are for types and examples of the things that will happen at the end of this age. GOD'S elect will be delivered up for a testimony against satan and the things written previously will guide the elect as to what will occur so that they will understand what they are to do. The end of the world actually is more clearly understood when you realize that the word 'world' in the following verse actually means 'age'. So, the examples are for the end of the age.
1st Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world (G165) are come.
Greek definition number G165 of the word 'world' in 1st Corinthians 10:11:
G165 αἰών aiōn ahee-ohn' From the same as G104; properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world; specifically (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future): - age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Compare G5550.
Here are the verses in context:
1st Corinthians 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1st Corinthians 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1st Corinthians 10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1st Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
1st Corinthians 10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
1st Corinthians 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
1st Corinthians 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
1st Corinthians 10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
1st Corinthians 10:9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
1st Corinthians 10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
1st Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
The following in an excerpt from Acts chapter two which shows what happened on the day of Pentecost when THE HOLY SPIRIT was first manifested in the apostles. As you can see, the apostles spoke other tongues, and every man heard them speak in his own language.
Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
Acts 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
As we follow this thread of speaking in tongues or other languages through The Bible, we see that THE HOLY SPIRIT will speak through the elect at the end time the same as what happened on the day of Pentecost. Everyone will hear them speak in his own language as they give a testimony against them (those of the synagogue of satan). As you can see by the verses in Mark 13:9 through Mark 13:11 below, this is how the gospel is published among all nations.
Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
Mark 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
The things shown above happen during the one world system. It is the system in which anti CHRIST rules the world. The system rises from out of the people and is known as Babylon the great (babylon means confusion, and the people are in a state of confusion because they believe that satan is GOD, but satan is actually fulfilling his role as antichrist), and the great white whore (because GOD'S children, which are supposed to be the bride of CHRIST are whoring after satan, believing that he is the true CHRIST because they do not have a love for the TRUTH and therefore are deceived by satan when he is cast to earth during the hour of temptation), and the beast of Revelation (because the one world beast system is ruled by the beast himself, the son of perdition that comes out of the bottomless pit).
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
GOD'S children number as the sands of the sea. The beast that rises out of the people has seven heads. These heads are not part of the beast at the same time. The heads are kings, and each king comes in succession down through the ages as the beast comes close to it's fruition. The first head was ancient Babylon as described by the image in king Nebuchadnezzar's dream in the book of Daniel, chapter two. The head that is right before the seventh head (satan) receives a deadly wound, which is healed by satan upon his arrival as antichrist. The ten horns have no kingdom, but as horns are symbolic of power, the ten horns are given power as kings for one hour with the beast. These ten kings are simultaneous with ten earthly kings which is the iron and the potter's clay that make up the toes of king Nebuchadnezzar's image. The name of blasphemy on the heads means that the beast, which leads up to and is satan, will claim to be GOD. The beast, which is a governmental system, rises out of the sea and is controlled by satan as he disguises himself as CHRIST. The sea, which is the waters are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. This means the one world system (or beast) consists of the nations of the world and they speak many languages or tongues. Every one of those people in that beast system who hear THE HOLY SPIRIT speak through the chosen as they are delivered up to satan for their testimony will hear it in their own language.
Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Revelation 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Revelation 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
Revelation 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
This is where satan is cast to earth and will play the role of anti CHRIST. People are expecting JESUS to return for the purpose of rapturing them from the earth, but anti CHRIST comes first and disguises himself as JESUS. The elect overcome satan by The Blood Of The LAMB (JESUS) and the word of their testimony, which is heard in the language in which each person who hears it was born.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
THE HOLY SPIRIT is GOD'S SPIRIT, and JESUS is GOD in the flesh (Emmanuel, which means 'GOD with us'). When THE HOLY SPIRIT speaks, HE speaks not of HIMSELF, but of the things pertaining to JESUS. When THE HOLY SPIRIT speaks through the very elect when they are delivered up, HE will be speaking to many peoples and nations and multitudes and tongues, and HIS voice is as the sound of many waters. When HE speaks, people listen!
Revelation 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Revelation 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Revelation 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Note:
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Conclusion:
Just as it happened in Acts chapter two, and is prophesied to happen again at the end time, as written in the book of Joel, when THE HOLY SPIRIT Speaks through us when we are delivered up for our testimony at the end time, our testimony will be manifested as each person who hears us will hear us in their own language. Waters are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (languages).
Revelation 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
So, as GOD Speaks through us (HIS chosen) by HIS SPIRIT (and do not forget that JESUS is ALMIGHTY GOD), people will hear us in their own language. This is how JESUS' Voice is as the sound of many waters (many languages).
